volunteering opportunities 

Helping hands and generous hearts have been the key to UMEM serving the people of rural Maine for almost 50 years.  Some volunteers come and work for a morning, others a few hours a week, and still other people have come in

daily for 10 plus years!  Many of our volunteers are individuals and families who have received and want to pay forward the kindness and support that they have received. Our volunteers  are vital; lending their time and talent to collaborate with our staff and extend UMEM's services to those in need.
